At Carmans, we don’t believe in waste. What others may see as a leftover material, we regard as a valuable resource. That’s exactly why we developed our BLUEBLOCKS: the cornerstone of our blue philosophy and the ultimate symbol of our circular approach.
Since 2015, Carmans has operated a fully automated installation for the production of BLUEBLOCKS. Contaminated materials delivered to our site are carefully washed and processed into secondary raw materials. These are then given a new purpose in the form of BLUEBLOCKS, stackable precast concrete blocks that provide a fully finished product ready for reuse by our customers.
Manufactured entirely from recycled materials and powered by renewable energy.
A small circle, a big difference
The entire process, from material treatment to final production, takes place on a single site, resulting in an exceptionally short circular loop. Because every step, from cleaning to manufacturing, is carried out in-house, we avoid unnecessary transport and keep our environmental footprint to an absolute minimum.
In addition, production is powered entirely by locally generated renewable energy. Solar panels and wind turbines supply the required power, ensuring that BLUEBLOCKS are produced not only in a circular way, but also in a climate-friendly manner.
