The Antwerp Soil Treatment Centre (GRA) serves as Carmans’ local hub for the processing and reuse of contaminated soils, mineral waste streams, and construction and demolition waste. Strategically located near the city centre, the site provides sustainable solutions fully compliant with the strictest regulatory standards.
As a certified C-Top site, the soil treatment centre serves as an approved intermediate storage facility for contaminated soils and mineral waste streams. This allows soils to be stored temporarily, fully in compliance with VLAREBO regulations, pending treatment or reuse.
GRA is also a recognised Soil Treatment Centre, specialised in the cleaning and remediation of soil. We apply various techniques to treat contaminated soils in a sustainable and effective manner, ensuring they can be used safely again.
In addition to soil treatment, GRA offers extensive recycling facilities for construction and demolition waste. Stone and concrete rubble are processed into high-quality aggregates that can be reused in infrastructure and construction projects.
