Last night (21.04.2015), at Greenville – center of cleantech – in Houthalen, the range of concrete blocks BLUEBLOCKS was officially launched with the symbolic handover of the very first block to chairman Alain Ysermans and general manager Luc Driesen of Greenville. This concrete product is made with renewable energy and renewable raw materials, making it the most CO2-friendly product of its kind on the market.

BLUEBLOCKS

Blueblocks are the new generation of concrete blocks. They have all the qualities of existing products, and more. Not only are they perfectly suited for building storage and transshipment areas, partition walls, and halls, but there’s even more: round studs make placement even easier, patented gabion cages allow the walls to be filled for visual or acoustic reasons, and finally, our blocks are made using renewable energy and renewable raw materials.

The range includes 4 basic sizes and about 10 elements for various finishes. The largest block measures 160L x 80W x 40H. Click here for the full range.

Ambition

“We’ve invested a lot of time and money to be able to create and launch a product like BLUEBLOCKS. Now, our ambition is to get this product at the top of the list for all public and private investors in storage and transshipment sites, container parks, product bunkers, partition walls, halls, and so on,” says Stefan Carmans. “Because this is the most CO2-friendly product on the market, and if we want to reach the climate targets, we need to start using products like this consistently. No empty promises, just action.”
